About this Project:
This project revolved around creating a synergistic online platform and a mobile digital care (telemedicine) app for PopUp Rx, a leading online prescription service.

The Challenge:
The dual-pronged challenge lay in developing an intuitive and user-friendly online prescription website from scratch and ensuring the mobile digital care app matched the website’s brand and theme.

Solution:
After conducting comprehensive user research, I embarked on the following steps:

  1. Developed wireframes and high fidelity designs for both the website and the mobile app, focusing on usability, visual appeal, and seamless navigation.
  2. Innovated a unique customer intake process, streamlined for both platforms, to simplify user registration, medical history input, and prescription requests.
  3. Designed an intuitive display of pharmaceutical information, enabling users to access drug details, pricing, and instructions easily on both the website and mobile app.
  4. Integrated Tele-Health service providers on both platforms, facilitating users to consult with healthcare professionals and receive prescriptions online.
  5. Ensured branding consistency between the website and the mobile app, using uniform color schemes, typography, and design elements to provide a cohesive user experience.
  6. Incorporated mail-in prescription fulfillment services, allowing users to have medications delivered directly to their doorsteps.

Results:
Both the online prescription website and the mobile digital care app were met with significant acclaim from users and stakeholders. Key performance metrics underlined the effectiveness of the design and development process:

  1. User registrations on both platforms increased by 45%, indicating the streamlined customer intake process’s success.
  2. Time spent on the website and the mobile app increased by 30%, highlighting the positive user experience derived from intuitive navigation and appealing design.
