Nautica

Client: VF Corporation
My Role: Lead UX/UI Designer and Sales Funnel Consultant

About this Project:
Nautica, a renowned lifestyle brand, sought to revamp their website’s design and migrate the platform from Demandware to Magento. The primary goals of the project were to strengthen the brand’s online presence, enhance the user experience, and align the website with the company’s digital marketing efforts.

The Challenge:
The project involved several challenges, such as maintaining Nautica’s brand guidelines while designing a fresh and modern website layout, seamlessly migrating the platform from Demandware to Magento without disrupting the user experience or the site’s functionality, and integrating a sales funnel strategy that complements the brand’s digital marketing plans, including email blasts, banner ads, and social media ads.

Solution:
As the lead UX/UI designer and sales funnel consultant, I tackled these challenges by carefully studying Nautica’s brand guidelines and developing a website design that effectively reflected the brand’s identity. I collaborated with developers to ensure a smooth platform migration, preserving the site’s functionality and user experience. Furthermore, I consulted on the sales funnel strategy, recommending and implementing tactics to support digital marketing efforts and optimize user engagement and conversions.

Results:
The redesigned Nautica.com website successfully achieved the project’s goals, resulting in a visually appealing and modern website design that adhered to Nautica’s brand guidelines, a seamless migration from Demandware to Magento with no disruption to the user experience or the site’s functionality, and an effective sales funnel strategy that enhanced user engagement and complemented the brand’s digital marketing initiatives, ultimately contributing to increased conversions and revenue.
