About this Project:
The New York Knicks-MSG sought to create an eye-catching newspaper full-page ad and full-color foldable insert aligned with their local TV and radio advertising campaigns. The primary goals were to create a visually appealing design that captures attention, remains consistent with their brand identity, and is adaptable for point-of-purchase placement. Additionally, the design needed to consider the maximum ink density allowed by the newspaper to ensure optimal color vibrancy.

The Challenge:
The project posed several challenges, including developing a cohesive design that aligns with the brand’s local TV and radio advertising campaigns, creating a versatile layout suitable for point-of-purchase placement, and achieving vibrant colors while adhering to the newspaper’s maximum ink density limitations.

Solution:
As the lead graphic designer, I tackled these challenges by carefully studying the brand’s advertising campaigns to create a consistent design that resonates with their target audience. I developed a flexible layout that could be easily adapted for various point-of-purchase placements, ensuring the design remained effective and visually appealing in different contexts. To address the newspaper’s ink density limitations, I utilized my knowledge of color management and print production techniques to optimize the design, achieving the desired color vibrancy without exceeding the maximum ink density.
